Fans of live poker in the UK and Ireland have plenty to get excited about this month, as there’s a host of tournaments on during May well worth getting involved in. The month of May is packed full of events right across Ireland, England and Scotland for poker players to get a seat in.

One of the UK’s top live poker tournaments, the Grosvenor series, has five events running this month. It has several £220 buy-in tournaments taking place in Leeds, Luton, Walsall, Glasgow, and Thanet, before the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour heads to Walsall at the end of May, with it a £550 buy-in Main Event on the agenda.

The popular Dusk Till Dawn (DTD) tournament will be busy this May, at their Nottingham-based club and also in other venues such as the Rainbow Casino in Bristol. It will be hosting the latest Grand Prix Poker Tour (GPPT) Mini event before travelling to Scotland for the $250,000 guaranteed GPPT tournament in the Scottish capital, in Glasgow’s Hampden Park. Dusk Till Dawn’s club will be full of eager poker fans for the World Poker Tour’s National UK festival that runs from the 19th of May to the 22nd.
